What is a man basket? Man baskets are steel enclosed platforms designed to be suspended from cranes to allow personnel to do work safely at heights that are ordinarily out of reach. All of our man baskets can be customized to fit your unique needs. Lakeshore Industrial man baskets are load tested at 200% of their rated capacity, include harness anchor points and grab rails to comply with ASME. B30.23 regulations.
We manufacture and sell a large array of models featuring small single man baskets, large models for many personnel, fully-enclosed mining cages, and round man baskets for those tight spaces. All man baskets come standard with a certificate of ASME compliance and load test documentation.
