Fully enclosed mining crane baskets

Mining baskets allow the safe transfer of multiple personnel together down a mining shaft, which increases job site efficiency and safety. Mining baskets offer a specific set of guidelines to ensure safe operation. Baskets used in mining work must be fully enclosed with no more than 1/2″ gaps at any part of the basket. They must also come with overhead protection and a means of escape in case of emergency. Read OSHA regulation 1926.800(t)(4)(iii)
